On-site laundry is the hidden constraint in most short-stay operations. A single wash-and-dry cycle consumes two to three hours of a four-hour turnover window, which means either the housekeeper waits, or the linen goes in and someone comes back, or the property gets remade with the previous set. All three cost money, and the third costs reviews.
Domestic laundering also destroys linen faster than owners expect. Sheets that looked crisp in the listing photographs are grey and pilled within a year of high-frequency use, and guests reliably comment on it before they comment on anything else in the bedroom.

Linen and housekeeping together
Linen is at its most useful bundled with turnover housekeeping, because the delivery and collection happen inside a visit you are already paying for. Booked separately it still works, but you carry the cost of a second attendance.

Linen is the first thing a guest touches
Before the view, before the coffee machine, before the wi-fi password, a guest pulls back a sheet. Grey, pilled, mismatched linen is the fastest route to a four-star review on a five-star apartment. Hotel-grade sets, pressed and sealed, remove that risk entirely.

How does linen hire work?
You never own or wash the linen. Opera delivers fresh, commercially laundered sets sized to your property and collects the used sets at the same visit, usually as part of the turnover clean. You pay per changeover rather than buying stock and running it through a domestic machine.
Is it cheaper than washing linen myself?
Once you count the machine time inside the turnover window, the labour, the power and water, and the replacement cost of linen that greys and pills after forty domestic washes, hire is usually competitive and always more predictable. It also removes the single most common cause of a late check-in.
What quality is the linen?
Commercial hotel-grade cotton-rich sheeting and towelling, pressed and presented in sealed sets. Guests notice linen before almost anything else in the room, and it is one of the cheapest levers on a review score.
Can I use my own linen and just have it laundered?
Yes. We can run a laundry-only service on your own stock, though we will be honest that stock-pooled hire is usually cheaper and always faster to turn around.
What about a property with unusual bed sizes?
Tell us the configuration and we will size the sets. King, queen, king single, split-king configurations and sofa beds are all standard.
Do you supply towels and bath mats too?
Yes. Bath sheets, hand towels, face washers, bath mats and tea towels are all part of a standard set. Pool and beach towels are available where the property needs them.
